Child & Family Therapy

Fun, play-based therapy for infants and young children

Authentic and Evidence-Based Care for Children and Teens

I offer warm, engaging therapy for children and teens of all ages (0-18), rooted in evidence-based care, authenticity, and respect for neurodiversity. I work closely with parents because strong parent-child relationships are the foundation for resilience, confidence, and healthy emotional growth.

I work with parents as a team, with clear goals and open communication, so parents always understand what we’re working on and leave with practical tools they can use at home.

Infant & Early Childhood Therapy (Ages 0-6)

I specialize in working with infants, toddlers, and young children (ages 0–6), along with their caregivers. My approach is fun, relationship-based, and focused on helping your child feel safe, connected, and understood.

Therapy That Feels Like Play

Kids think, learn, and express themselves through play, and I believe therapy should feel engaging, creative, and even fun. Play is deeply healing for children, and sessions with me often include play, creativity, and movement so children can express their feelings, build emotional regulation skills, and feel connected to their grown-ups. This play is intentional work that helps your child heal and grow in ways that feel natural to them.

Even very young children can be deeply affected by stress. They show us what they’re going through through their behavior, their bodies, and their play. I provide a safe, supportive space where children and caregivers can process these experiences together and begin to feel more secure and connected.

I support children who may be navigating:

  • Big feelings

  • Challenging behaviors

  • Sensory or emotional regulation challenges

  • Stressful or scary experiences

  • The arrival of a new sibling or other family transitions

  • Medical challenges or procedures

  • School or childcare transitions

  • Peer relationship challenges

  • Sleep or eating challenges

  • Highly sensitive and “deeply-feeling” children

My Approach

My work is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based approach. I incorporate body-based regulation strategies, movement, and creativity to support each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.

Child & Adolescent Therapy (Ages 6-18)

I provide compassionate therapy for children and teens ages 6–18, helping them manage stressful experiences, social challenges, and the ups and downs of the tween and adolescent years. With a specialized focus on anxiety, I help young people build confidence, resilience, and the self-regulation tools they need to thrive in all areas of their lives.

Child/Teen Concerns I Address:

  • Anxiety

  • Family or school transitions

  • Friendship struggles

  • Highly sensitive and “deeply-feeling” children

My Approach

I offer SPACE therapy (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), an evidence-based treatment that addresses childhood and adolescent anxiety. In SPACE, parents or caregivers attend sessions and learn practical tools to support their child in daily life, all while the child remains the core focus of treatment. While children often do not attend sessions themselves, children benefit by targeted, at-home parent intervention that reduces anxiety and promotes autonomy, often improving daily functioning.

A Collaborative Approach

You are the expert on your child, and therapy with me is a partnership. I work closely with you to create meaningful, lasting change - not just in sessions, but at home in your everyday life.

There’s no guesswork in therapy with me. I’m transparent about what I’m doing and why, so you and your child feel confident every step of the way. You and your child will leave sessions with practical tools and strategies that fit your and your child’s unique needs and your unique parenting style.

A Space for Both You and Your Child

Therapy isn’t just for your child; it’s for you, too. I offer a space where you can ask questions, share concerns, and feel supported without judgment. Together, we’ll build tools that feel aligned with your family’s needs.

My goal is to help your child feel safe in their world and to help you feel effective in supporting them.
